Interactive R Markdown Server
I want to create a R Markdown document that has some interactive graphs. I'm using Shiny with R to put them together. I don't want to change the source or modify the Markdown, but I want to dynamically construct the graphs, show them, hide them, and do whatever else is needed.
I've found it fairly easy to take a folder containing a Markdown file and a corresponding R file, and, with rmarkdown::render(), render the Markdown into a pdf document. However, it does not appear that rmarkdown::render() can take a parameter that is specified as interactive.
I thought I'd be clever and use knitr::include_resource(). It appears to do precisely what I want, with the only problem being that I can't turn on or off certain elements. If I put this line in my Rmd file:

But I don't get any figures. Why not?

The issue is that knitr::include_resource() is not part of the rmarkdown package. Use the interactive chunk option as described in the documentation.

creating a custom project at QtCreator
I am using QtCreator and I would like to create a custom project, not using the Qt wizard.
At this stage I am just trying to create a simple c++ project and save it as a project.
I don't know how to make the right settings at the Qt Creator - project properties-General-General-Item Type. What kind of project shall I create? (Qt? Standalone? Can this be done?)
I am using QtCreator Version 3.1.1 on Windows 10.
